British Prime Minister Theresa May danced with students from a Cape Town school on Tuesday as she visited the country on the first leg of a trade trip to Africa.

Mrs May also spoke with a group of senior students before leaving for a meeting with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.

After visiting South Africa, she was due to travel on to Kenya and Nigeria where she would meet the countries' respective presidents.

Mrs May's visit will focus on a renewed partnership between the UK and Africa and will be joined by a business delegation with representatives of companies and startups from across the UK.
