SHARJAH // The wrong man was brought before the Sharjah Criminal Court to face charges of using hashish.
The presiding judge said in this morning’s hearing that an Emirati, identified as T A, was referred to the court on charges of smoking hashish.
“After reviewing the case’s file, it became clear to the court that the man who committed this crime and with whom hashish was seized is not in fact T A, but another person identified as S A S who holds a Comoros Islands passport,” said the judge.
The court ordered that the case be returned to the Sharjah prosecution.
A date for the next hearing will be determined after amendments are made.

Who has lived at The Bishops Avenue?
