DUBAI // An electrician and a carpenter accused of attacking their supervisor with a cricket bat and knocking him out before stealing his mobile phone and Dh2,500 in cash have been cleared by Dubai Criminal Court.
Prosecutors claimed the two Bangladeshis, aged 32 and 34, and other men who worked at the company in Al Qusais, attacked the Pakistani supervisor because he was not paying them their full wages.
The defendants denied charges of physical assault and theft. They were found not guilty.
