The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation (MBRF) has launched Esteraht Sayedat, the first book club dedicated to women in the Arab world.

In line with the directives of the President, Sheikh Khalifa, to mark 2016 as the Year of Reading, the club aims to promote reading among women across all social backgrounds through regular meetings to discuss books.

“The goal of our efforts and projects is to develop a cultured and knowledgeable community,” said Jamal bin Huwaireb, managing director of the MBRF.
