After 14 years of marriage, a man discovered his wife, who is the mother of his three children, had been having sex with other men for money, a Dubai Court heard this week.
The 40-year-old Iranian man, who works with Dubai police, said in court records that he returned to his Al Qusais home one day in 2015 to find his children alone. When he asked them about his wife, his five-year-old daughter said she left with a man.
He said his brother called him on the same day to tell him he had seen his wife with one of the brother's friends.
"I asked my daughter for more details about her mother and she said that she saw her naked with two different men once in the bedroom and once in the living room," said the husband who confronted his wife upon her return home but she denied saying the man was only a friend.
"I didn't leave it, I insisted she tell me the truth, then she said she had been having sex with men for money after arranging a meeting place through her mobile phone," said the man who then took his wife's phone from her.
The following morning he left for work and after returning home, found that his wife had flown to Iran. He said he checking her mobile phone and found numerous images of her naked and in seductive positions which she had sent to two numbers through WhatsApp.
He said he also found conversations between his wife and two men whereby they exchanged details such as prices and meeting places.
The man reported the incident to police and provided them with his wife's mobile phone which helped police track down and arrest the two men, a jobless Emirati, 31, and a Syrian employee, 27.
"I was told about her through a countryman who used to live her before he moved to Kuwait," the Syrian defendant said.

"I contacted her to have sex but we met twice and she asked for Dh2,000 which I didn't have. I offered her Dh500 but she refused then she stopped taking my calls," he said.
The Emirati, who was a friend of the woman's brother-in-law, told prosecutors the woman contacted him on a messenger application and sent him pictures of herself but he did not solicit her. "She must have got my number from her husband's phone, he has my number because I'm friends with his brother," said the accused.

The two men and the 30-year-old woman were charged with inciting sin. The men appeared in Dubai Court of Misdemeanours and denied the charge while the woman is being tried in her absence.

It is unclear why the case took two years to be heard at court.
