Police in Abu Dhabi have issued a safety warning after sharing a video of a red-light-jumping danger driver involved in a horror road smash.
The 24-second video, posted on the force's Twitter page, shows a reckless SUV driver flouting traffic laws by running a red light and taking an illegal left turn on a busy road.
The SUV is then seen crashing into another car, causing damage to both vehicles.
Abu Dhabi Police released the footage with a message urging drivers to consider why the incident occurred – and called on them to share their views on how they can be avoided.
