Members of a volunteering programme have received training on how to respond to crises and emergencies.
Saned, a national volunteer programme run by Emirates Foundation, held the training day in Al Aweer in Dubai on Sunday.
More than 200 volunteers took part, as well as members of Dubai Civil Defence and Dubai Ambulance.
Nine teams of volunteers from Abu Dhabi, the Western Region, Al Ain, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and the Eastern Region took part.
