Unseasonal rain falls in Al Ain
AL AIN // While the rest of the country dealt with sunny skies and energy-sapping humidity on Tuesday, it was a different story in the Garden City, which saw some unseasonal rain.
Light showers were witnessed in Al Ain, though it didn’t offer much respite from the summer heat as temperatures still hit 44°C.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology warned against poor visibility, saying: “Cloud formations and strong winds [may cause] blowing dust and poor visibility to less than 1,500 metres at times over some eastern areas.”
Forecasters said that the weather is expected to remain hazy across the country, with moderate winds over the next couple of days.
