FUJAIRAH // Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, attended the launch of the ‘Well of Giving Around the World’ initiative in Fujairah on Monday in the lead-up to National Day celebrations.
The initiative is being marked in five parts, the first of which will be a sea parade, called the Union Parade, which will set off from Fujairah on Monday and pass through every emirate, reaching Abu Dhabi by December 2 for the 43rd National Day anniversary.
Speaking on the occasion in the presence of other sheikhs and officials, Sheikh Nahyan paid rich tributes to the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who’s memory this initiative celebrates, describing him as the founder of the renaissance of the UAE.
