Latest: Dubai firefighter killed battling Business Bay blaze
Firefighters tackled a blaze in an under-construction tower that sent smoke billowing over the city's skyline.
The tower in Business Bay was engulfed in smoke as flames spread in the lower level parking floors.
Dubai Civil Defence was alerted at 10.40am on Saturday.
It said personnel from three nearby stations were sent to the scene. Officials said no injuries were reported.
Business Bay, a popular residential and office district near Downtown, has seen a flurry of construction and the arrival of many new restaurants recently.
