Temperatures are creeping up across the Emirates as summer inches closer.
Although partly cloudy and hazy at times, temperatures will reach up to 40°C today on the coast, and 43°C inland. Mountainous regions will be cooler, at up to 30°C.
Humidity will reach up to 85 per cent on the coast, 80 per cent inland and 60 per cent in the mountains.
Winds will be moderate, which may blow sand over exposed areas and whip up the seas at times northwards in the Arabian Gulf. Waves will be moderate in the Oman Sea.
Temperatures will continue to climb in the coming days, and it will remain fair to partly cloudy, according to forecasters.
