DUBAI // Forecasters predict hazy and partly cloudy conditions at times on Wednesday with a slight drop in temperatures.
The national weather bureau also warned that exposed areas could face blowing dust as winds freshen.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology in Abu Dhabi is warning of fresh northwesterly winds that will cause rough seas in the Arabian Gulf.
“The relative humidity is likely to increase during the night and early morning over some coastal areas, and fog/mist may form, especially over the northern coasts,” the centre said.
“Sea will be moderate, but may become rough at times during the day in the Arabian Gulf and moderate in the Oman Sea.”
Temperatures will range from 36°C to 39°C during the day along the coast with inland areas experiencing highs of 42°C.
Winds will be as high as 36 kilometres an hour.
Similar conditions will persist into the weekend with clouds increasing over eastern areas and the mountains by afternoon.
