ABU DHABI // New Year’s Eve revellers celebrating outdoors tonight can expect relatively warm weather.
Temperatures reached a height of 28°C during the day and will drop to about 18°C to 20°C throughout the evening. Conditions will be partly cloudy in some areas, with light to moderate winds.
Humidity is expected to rise overnight into Friday morning, with a chance of fog and mist, particularly in the western part of the country.
Over the weekend, cloudy conditions will likely continue with a fall in temperatures predicted during the day.
Moderate winds will become fresh by Friday afternoon, and will pick up dust, reducing visibility over some areas, particularly in the Western Region.
Seas are expected to rough in the Arabian Gulf, and moderate in the Sea of Oman.
