Rain was reported in parts of the Western Region, Al Ain and Abu Dhabi today.
Al Hameem, in the Western Region, recorded 29.2 millimeters of rain, according to a meteorologist from the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS).
"We recorded a good deal of rain today, over different areas and especially over the South part of the UAE," the meteorologist said.
For example, Al Mazyad recorded 25.2 millimeters, while Jebel Hafeet in Al Ain recorded 8.4 millimeters.
Madinat Zayed, in the Western Region, received a sprinkling of 0.4 millimeters.
In Abu Dhabi, rain was seen near Zayed Sports City.
However the meteorologist said that while there had been light rain over different areas of the capital, none of it was recorded.
Tomorrow's weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of rain and moderate to rough seas, the NCMS predicted.
