UAE weather: Conditions to deteriorate in some parts with rain expected

ABU DHABI // Haze, clouds and potential rain are predicted for Sunday afternoon across the Emirates, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology.

The weather will deteriorate in some parts of the country, mainly in the north and the east, associated by some rainfall at times, the centre said.

Moderate winds will cause blowing dust and sand over exposed areas and the sea is expected to be light to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

Temperatures will continue to rise, reaching a scorching 45°C in internal areas and lows will drop to 19°C in the mountains.

Wind speeds are expected to reach highs of 40kmph in the internal areas and humidity is expected to rise to a maximum of 90 per cent on coastal areas.
