Clear skies across much of the country will see daytime temperatures reach a peak of about 39°C in Abu Dhabi on Monday, with similar weather predicted for Dubai.
It will be slightly cooler than previous days, thanks to 20kph north-westerly winds sweeping across the country.
Overnight temperatures are also forecast to be similar to recent days – about 28°C in the capital and 25°C in Dubai – although blowing dust could cause driving difficulties in Fujairah and on the east coast.
It is expected to be hotter there, with temperatures reaching 42°C and winds of about 30kph.
The settled period of weather elsewhere in the UAE is likely to continue for the rest of the week.
