Muslim Brotherhood members and activists who publicly insulted the UAE on two separate occasions have been summoned to the Federal Supreme Court.

Mubarak Al Duwailah, from Kuwait, attacked the UAE on an official TV show in December last year.

Essam Al Arian, the adviser to former Egyptian president Mohammed Morsi, publicly insulted the UAE after a group of Egyptians were convicted of being Brotherhood members.

Mr Al Arian’s case was adjourned to June 1. Mr Al Duwailah’s will resume the week after.
