The UAE government's long-term e-strategy is to provide all public online services to customers through multiple channels, according to the director general of Emirates Identity Authority.
Dr Ali Mohammed Al Khouri, who was the keynote speaker of 'eGovernment: Key Trends and Challenges' at the 19th GCC eGovernment and eServices Conference in Dubai, discussed the journey of the region's eMaturity from theory to practice.
He emphasised that the UAE's leaders have spared no effort to contribute to the technical and competitive success of the region, and urged all sectors and leaders in the Emirates to collaborate in order to achieve the goals of identity and security in the GCC.
