The UAE government, its humanitarian institutions and organisations through direct initiatives and its offices have continued their support for the displaced Syrians in Lebanon, said Hamad Saeed Sultan Al Shamsi, the UAE Ambassador to Lebanon.
The total aid provided by the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity and Humanitarian Establishment, Al Maktoum Foundation, Dubai Cares, International Humanitarian City, Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor Foundation stood at Dh80 million, in addition to the role played by individuals and philanthropists during the crisis.
The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has provided humanitarian aid worth Dh100 million, whereas Emirates Red Crescent contributed around Dh50 million.
