Beachgoers are being warned to avoid going to the beach today through Monday due to high waves and unstable seas, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS).
NCMS said in a statement Saturday that the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman will have high waves and dangerous seas due to high winds.
Sunday’s forecast is calling for partly cloudy skies with a fall in temperatures. The wind is expected to be fresh to strong, which can lead to blowing dust and sand that can reduce visibility at times over the interior. Temperatures along the coast are expected to reach a high of between 25 C to 28 C and a low between 17 C and 23 C.
