ABU DHABI // A joint military exercise by the UAE and US ground forces began on Monday in the capital.
Named Iron Claw 2, the training is part of the military exercises the UAE Armed Forces are undergoing throughout the year, with an aim to enhance capability, gain more field experience and understand military doctrines, reported state news agency Wam.
The drill also aims to increase joint operational coordination and maintain the one-team spirit under a common strategy: to raise combat readiness and handle different types of sophisticated weapons and equipment.
