Two involved in Dubai bomb belt threat referred to criminal court

Two people, including a 33-year-old Uzbek woman, have been accused of threatening and frightening employees of the public prosecution with what looked like an explosives belt.

Attorney-General Issam Issa Al Humaidan of Dubai has decided to refer the two accused in the bomb belt case to the Dubai Criminal Court.

According to the Dubai Public Prosecution, the two accused identified respectively by initials as DAH and MYM have been accused of threatening and scaring HSM, employees of the public prosecution and clients.

The Uzbek woman, 33, had threatened to blow herself and the building up with what looked like an explosives belt she had strapped around her body, unless her demand was met.
