UMM AL QUWAIN // A woman was rescued on Saturday night after being trapped in her car after a crash with another vehicle.
A team from Umm Al Quwain Civil Defence rescued the woman, who sustained minor injuries and was taken to Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital in UAQ.
The civil defence operations room had received a call reporting a woman being trapped in her car, and sent a team with an ambulance, a spokesman said.
The team used equipment to cut the metal and rescue the injured woman from the vehicle, he said.
