Motorists faced delays on Sunday on the usual major arteries heading from Sharjah into Dubai.

The E311 was heavy going from before the National Paints roundabout all the way down to Dubai International Airport.

It was also busy on the E11 from Ansar Mall until the Al Qiyadah metro stop.
