Broken down vehicles were causing minor delays to traffic on busy routes in and around Abu Dhabi at about 7am on Tuesday.
Recovery vehicles were called to remove a vehicle from Hamdan Bin Mohammed Street, near Al Firdous Street towards the Mina Link, as it was blocking the left lane.
Just 20 minutes later a second car had broken down on Sheikh Zayed Street, shortly before 9th Street, also blocking the left lane. The vehicle was cleared within the hour to remove the obstruction and allow commuter traffic to continue at the usual flow.
Dubai police reported minor accidents causing delays on Rebat Street, shortly before Business Bay Bridge towards Al Khail Road, with drivers urged to approach the area with caution and reduce speed.
