UAE traffic: Accidents on two Abu Dhabi bridges cause delays

ABU DHABI // Several accidents across the capital caused delays to commuters, prompting a warning to motorists to drive with caution.

An accident on Saada Bridge inbound at 8am blocked off the left lane, causing congestion. The Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport posted a tweet warning drivers of the problem.

Minutes later the department reported another incident, on Mussaffah Bridge outbound, which caused tailbacks. The accident was cleared quickly and all lanes reopened.

A car broke down near Khaleej Al Arabi Street and Zayed the First Street towards the Abu Dhabi Corniche at 8.45am causing more delays.

No accidents were reported in Dubai.
