SHARJAH // Two people were killed and eight others injured in traffic accidents on Sharjah’s roads during Eid Al Adha.
Police said that six accidents occurred during the holiday. Speeding, failing to adhere to traffic laws and not leaving a safe distance between vehicles were the main reason for the accidents.
Col Ahmed bin Darwish, director of traffic and patrols in Sharjah, urged motorists to not use mobile devices and keep their attention on the road, as well as abiding with speed limits.
