DUBAI// Two people were injured in two separate accidents on the emirate’s roads on Sunday morning.
Major Abdullah Bisho, director of the Land Rescue Unit at Dubai Police’s Search and Rescue department, said the first accident took place at 6.50am near Global Village.
“A Pakistani man was trapped in a vehicle,” he said, adding that the man suffered moderate injuries.
Around 40 minutes later, a man was severely injured when a truck and a bus collided near the Al Hoth roundabout towards Jebel Ali Port.
“The driver was the only person in the bus and once freed he was transported to hospital via helicopter,” said Maj Bisho.
