A bus caught fire in Sharjah on Friday morning.
The bus was travelling northbound on Al Ittihad Street at around 8.30am when it caught fire near Al Safeer Mall.
The fire appeared to start from the back of the bus, near the engine. Soon after, the bus exploded. The driver and the occupants of the bus were evacuated in time.
Witnesses said the bus appeared to be empty at the time of the explosion and that nobody was hurt.
