Section of Al Reem Street in Abu Dhabi to be closed for two months

A section of Al Reem Street heading towards Al Reem Island will be closed for two months.

A section of Al Reem Street in Abu Dhabi will be closed for two months, the Department of Transport has announced.

The stretch, which links Al Maryah Island and Al Reem Island, will be closed from 11pm on Thursday until 5am on Tuesday April 23.

Motorists are being advised that an alternative route is available via Zayed the First Street.

The transport authority did not state why the road closure is taking place.
