SHARJAH // From Tuesday, November 17, motorists will have to pay to park around Al Mujarrah Corniche road.
Sharjah Municipality said it has installed the meters to reduce disorganised parking and incidents of cars being abandoned there.
Earlier this year, Al Majaz 1 area was converted into a paid parking zone, while last year, paid parking came into effect in Al Mahata.
Sharjah Municipality said next year, paid parking will be introduced around The central souq, Al Majaz 3 and Al Jubeil market areas.
