New link between the E311 and E611 in Dubai to open on Thursday

Al Yalayes Road will have up to 55,000 vehicles using it each day, the Roads and Transport Authority said.

DUBAI // The final stage of Al Yalayes Road, which will offer a new link between Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and Emirates Road, will open on Thursday, the Roads and Transport Authority said.

Up to 55,000 vehicles are expected to use the new corridor each day.

The 9km Al Yalayes Road has four lanes in each direction and offers entry and exit points to Dubai Investments Park and Jumeirah Golf Estates.

The project also includes the construction of a ramp on Emirates Road to ease the traffic flow from Jebel Ali towards Sharjah.
