SHARJAH // A mother and her two children died in a traffic accident on Saturday.
The car they were in smashed into a central reservation barrier and flipped over several times, said police.
The mother, an Emirati in her 50s, her son, 20, and daughter, 14, were all taken to Al Qasimi Hospital by ambulance, where they pronounced dead.
Another Emirati woman and her child sustained injuries in the accident and were receiving hospital treatment.
Sharjah traffic police said speeding was the cause of the crash.
A spokesman urged residents to adhere to traffic laws and speed limits.
