FUJAIRAH // An Emirati mother and three workers from Asian countries died in two separate crashes in Fujairah on Wednesday.
The 45-year-old mother died while her son, who was driving the vehicle, was injured in the crash on E89 road in Rashidiya area.
Police received a report on the crash at 3.25pm.
“The 18-year-old Emirati,was driving the car accompanied by his mother when suddenly he lost control due to the high speed and ran into two other vehicles,” said Maj Saeed Al Hassani, head of the Fujairah Police media department.
Another crash occurred on Dibba-Masafi Road early in the morning. Three workers died and another three were injured in the crash near Al Halah village, which was reported at 8.53am.
The workers riding in a pick-up truck that crashed into another vehicle. The Syrian truck driver and Emirati driving the other vehicle were not injured.
Police said they are investigating the crashes.
