DUBAI// A fare discount of five per cent has been announced on all public marine transit by the Roads and Transport Authority.
The drop in fares affects water bus, water taxi, Dubai ferry and chartered blue abras.
It has been done to encourage more people to use these methods of transport and includes savings for seniors on scheduled trips on Dubai Ferry once a national identity card has been presented.
The discount also applies to riders who buy return tickets for the ferry between Al Ghubaiba and Marina.
