Five cars go up in flames in RAK

Police investigating after vehicles parked in deserted area are set ablaze.

RAS AL KHAIMAH // Five old cars parked in a deserted area off Al Rams Road were found in flames on Wednesday.

No injuries were reported and police are investigating the cause of the blaze, a source at RAK's Civil Defence told Al Ittihad, The National's Arabic sister paper.

Civil Defence acted on a call-out about the incident and immediately set about putting out the fire.

The owner of the vehicles is still unknown at this time.
