DUBAI // Drivers are experiencing extensive delays during rush hour traffic on Tuesday morning.
There were long queues on Al Dhaid-Masafi Road towards Sharjah Airport, Al Wahda Street near Expo Centre Sharjah and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road from National Paints into Dubai.
There were delays on roads in and around Al Qusais near Dubai International Airport, with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road gridlocked from Muhaisnah to Mirdif City Centre.
Rebat Street had delays from Mirdif to Dubai Festival City.
Drivers on the Dubai-Hatta Road at the intersection with Ras Al Khor Road were in queues, as were those on Sheikh Zayed Road in both directions from Al Safa 2 to Mall of the Emirates.
The TrafficDXB Twitter feed said there were reports of accidents this morning on the E11 Al Ittihad Road after Ansar Mall in Sharjah resulting in tailbacks.
There was also an accident on Sheikh Zayed Road after Mall of the Emirates towards World Trade Centre causing some delays.
In the capital there were delays on the Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road at Mohammed bin Zayed City to Khor Al Maqta, and Abu Dhabi-Sweihan-Al Hayer Road from Zayed University to Abu Dhabi Gate City.
