SHARJAH // An Emirati man died on Monday from severe injuries he sustained in a crash in Sharjah.
The 64-year-old lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the concrete barrier on Mleiha Road, Sharjah Police said.
Emergency crews found the motorist severely injured and bleeding at the scene of the crash.
He was taken to Al Qasimi Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Sharjah Police have warned motorists of construction work on Mleiha Road. Earlier this year, the speed limit for the road was lowered to 100kph.
Police urged motorists to abide by speed limits and to avoid getting distracted while driving.
