Emirates Transport to operate 627 new school buses

The new batch of vehicles will increase Emirates Transport's fleet to 4,465 buses to cover all of the emirates and serve public and private schools.

Emirates Transport will operate 627 new school buses across the UAE as part of preparations for the upcoming new academic year.

Jassim Mohammed Shaaer, Acting Executive Director of the School Transportation Department at Emirates Transport, said the new batch of vehicles will increase its fleet to 4,465 buses to cover all of the emirates and serve public and private schools.

He added that the corporation will also provide 4,238 drivers as well as 5,500 male and female supervisors, reported Al Ittihad, the Arabic language sister paper of The National.
