Hundreds of commuters were stuck in heavy traffic around Dubai's Jumeirah Lake Towers on Monday, with some reporting waiting bumper to bumper for more than two-hours.

Road repairs to one section of the main street were a possible cause for the delays.

In addition Dubai Police reported several accidents in the broader road network around rush hour.

Google Maps showed heavy congestion across the roads between the clusters.
