One man was killed and another injured when a lorry rolled on top of their car in Ras Al Khaimah.
Brig Ghanim Ahmed Ghanim, director general of central operations at RAK police, said that initial investigations showed Friday’s accident happened when the Arab driver failed to look out for other vehicles when entering a roundabout.
An Asian lorry driver heading towards Al Taween Road was taken by surprise when the car suddenly entered the roundabout, and tried to avoid it.
The lorry rolled over and landed on top of the car, killing the driver and injuring his passenger.
Brig Ghanim urged caution on the road to avoid similar deadly accidents.
