Traffic was congested along UAE highways on Tuesday morning and those driving along Sheikh Zayed Road found themselves experiencing several delays.
A bottleneck was reported on Sheikh Zayed Road near Dubai Marina, lasting until Jafza.
Those heading from Sharjah to Dubai were also running into heavy traffic with heavy congestion reported near the Al Furjan villas roundabout on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.
Drivers on the E88 Al Dhaid Road after Sharjah Airport towards Emirates Road saw congestion as a minor accident was reported along the highway.
Traffic was moving smoothly along Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road in the direction of Sharjah. But on the other side of the road, Dubai-bound Sharjah commuters ran into delays starting from the American University of Sharjah to City Centre, Mirdif.
There were fewer delays reported in Abu Dhabi but drivers experienced slight delays as they crossed Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Road to enter the island.
