4km of main roads to be built in Kalba

The project is the first phase of a project to build roads in the Al Baraha area of Kalba.

The Department of Public Works in Sharjah has began laying asphalt for 4 kilometres of main roads in the Al Baraha area in Kalba.

The first phase of the project is scheduled for completion this month.

The second phase of the project, which involves developing internal streets, would be announced at a later date, according to the head of the municipal council of Kalba, Helal Al Naqbi.

Mr Al Naqbi explained that the second phase would be more complicated as it involves streets that pass through a number of valleys.
