3.4 billion uses of Nol cards on Dubai’s transport system since launch

Roads and Transport Authority statistics show that the travel cards are used at transport system entry and exit points 2.4 million times on a daily basis.

DUBAI // Nol travel cards have been used on 3.4 billion occasions to pay for various forms of public transport since the system was launched in 2009.

Roads and Transport Authority statistics show that the cards are used at transport system entry and exit points 2.4 million times on a daily basis. The card is used at metro and tram stations and on buses, taxis and marine transit.

In total the RTA has issued 48 million Nol cards and tickets since 2009.
