DUBAI // A British tourist was molested at Dubai Airport after arriving on a flight from Glasgow, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.
A A, 26, said she was at the Transit Zone at Terminal 3 at around 10.30pm on November 2 last year when saw the defendant, S K, 24, from Pakistan. “I asked him where the arrivals area was and he said that I should take the lift to get there, then when I took the lift he jumped in with me,” said A A.
She added that he asked her if she was married, and when she said no he reached his arms from behind her and tried to hug her and then touched her breast.
“I pushed him away and as the door of the lift opened I ran out and headed directly to a police office at the airport and reported him,” added A A.
S K, a worker at the airport, was charged with sexual assault, which he confessed to.
A verdict is expected on February 1.
