NAIROBI, KENYA // A Muslim cleric in Kenya said police are deporting three men from the UAE and one from Oman because they suspect them of having links to terror groups, though the four have said they are tourists.
The chairman of the Supreme Council of Kenyan Muslims said police arrested the men on Tuesday in the coastal city of Mombasa after they got off a flight from Kenya's capital, Nairobi.
Sheikh Mordhar Khitamy said police told him they became suspicious after officers saw the four men bribing immigration officials to let them enter the country on Tuesday.
He said the incident is an illustration of discrimination against Muslims.
A deputy police chief in Mombasa said he was not aware of the case. A police spokesman in Nairobi did not answer the phone.

Real estate tokenisation project
Dubai launched the pilot phase of its real estate tokenisation project last month.
The initiative focuses on converting real estate assets into digital tokens recorded on blockchain technology and helps in streamlining the process of buying, selling and investing, the Dubai Land Department said.
Dubai’s real estate tokenisation market is projected to reach Dh60 billion ($16.33 billion) by 2033, representing 7 per cent of the emirate’s total property transactions, according to the DLD.
