ABU DHABI // Three men are on trial for establishing a group that is related to Hizbollah without the authorities’ approval.
A A K, 66 and A I K, 30 both from Lebanon, and S N G, 62, a Canadian, appeared at the Federal Supreme Court on Monday.
The three defendants, who denied the charges against them, were appointed counsel by the court.
A representative from the Canadian Embassy attended the indictment hearing alongside families of the accused.
The offence is being treated as a misdemeanour.
The case was adjourned to 15 February 2016 for the defence to prepare their case.
