RAS AL KHAIMAH // Three men have been arrested for stealing Dh236,000 in cash from an office in Ras Al Khaimah.

Police said that last week the men, from an Asian country, broke into an office of a company in RAK, using the vent openings on the roof, and stole the cash.

“The suspects entered through the roof of the company. They stole an entire a safe that contained Dh236,000 in cash and broke into another safe to find documents only,” said Brig Abdullah Menakhas, director of CID at RAK Police.

RAK Police said officers identified one of the suspects, a cleaner at the company who had gone to a nearby emirate to try to leave the country illegally.

Police coordinated with the Al Ain, Abu Dhabi and Al Dhafra Region police to track down the other suspects.
