Thousands of Ramadan bags to be handed out

The packs have a guide to fasting and detailed prayer and meal times.

DUBAI // Thirty-five thousand bags containing information about Ramadan will be given out to residents as part of Al Ajer initiative. Launched by Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid, Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, the packs have a guide to fasting and detail prayer and meal times. Emirates Commercial Postal Services will help to distribute the bags to companies, Government bodies and mosques around Dubai. Al Ajer will also have radio and television campaigns to raise awareness of the importance of good deeds during Ramadan.
