ABU DHABI // A set of stamps marking the Golden Jubilee of the Automobile and Touring Club has been released by Emirates Post.

The stamps honour ATCUAE, which oversees roughly 140 events as part of the country’s motorsport scene.

In 2006 Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, became the organisation’s honorary president.

Acting president of Emirates Post Group, Fahad Al Hosani, said: “Emirates Post Group has always supported organisations that work relentlessly for the community and promote sporting activities. We therefore decided to mark the Golden Jubilee of the club with special stamps that portray the unique contribution of the club to motorsports in the UAE.”

The stamps, issued in Dh1 and Dh3 denominations, are available at all post offices.
